Goth Juice

We here at Willy and Dick are major fans of the Mighty Boosh, sadly for us Dutchies only to be viewed on the internet... It's hard to explain, you just have to watch! Like this one, Tundra Rap:

ICE! FLOW! NOWHERE TO GO! ICE! FLOW! NOWHERE TO GO!

Or this little gem, the Soup Song:

Crouton, crouton! I mean, like duhhh it's so awesome! I like to think that me and Dick are the Dutch Mighty Boosh. Only with worse hair. Enjoy!!

HA! Cuteness that isn't a kitteh.

Dick and I are just a freezer full of Ben & Jerry's and a bottle of Jack Daniels away of becoming krazy kat ladies, I thought I'd post something about another cute animal, panda's! Click this link for a video of the most useless animal on the planet. Srsly, they walk like Japanese schoolgirls. If they walk, they're mostly carried, lazy bitches.

Natalie Portman & Devendra Banhart. Perfection. I spotted a Devendra doppelganger Thursday while clubbing, maybe I should hook up with him so I can recreate this beautiful moment...

dEUS

I'm loving the new dEUS album, Vantage Point. They're my fav Belgians! Here's their single "The Architect", but "Slow" is worth checking out too. They're appearing at Lowlands, guess who's gonna stand upfront? Moi!

And am I the only one who's getting hot and bothered by Tom Barman? He's like 17 years older than I am, but, that ain't that bad right? Right?

This one is for Dick:

Tom with Koen Wauters from Clouseau. It's a private joke..

The Gayz

I've not been very good at posting this week, and yesterday I was too busy getting drunk and calling random people, so you know, BUSY BUSY BUSY! So now I present you with an ode to one my favourite gays (I have so many, I'm such a hag), Bryanboy. He's already on our blog reel, so you have NO excuse for not visiting his blog yet. He can get a bit pro ana sometimes, but we're krazy kat ladies, so who are we to judge right? Can I get an AMEN PLEASE???!! Ahum, sorry still drunk..

Anyhoo, just look at this outfit! I would totally wear this. I love that hat, I've been looking for one. I saw a really good one at the Zara men's department, cause there the only ones that fit my fat head. Shall I buy? Share below!

Here's another gem! I so need to cut off some oversize jeans and cuff them, it looks just like Alexander Wang summer '08. Genius.

Baboosh!

Pass me the Sake, plz.

My new Connies and I went on a little trip today. We went to Kroller-Muller museum, somewhere in, well, the middle of nowhere. The museum's not that famous(though it is in fact a wonderful museum), but oh!, how delightful is it that those luverly Japanese tourists always seem find their way to Van Gogh paintings! The earless sicko calls them in their sleep, I'd guess, and then he brainwashes them so they will only travel in groups, accompanied by their beloved Sony and Louis Vuitton. Something like that.

But when I grow up, uncle Karl, it is my dream to become one of them! Despite their awkward way of dressing(large floppy hats, khaki shorts, 'I Love Venice'-buttons, 'I Love Bratwurst'-buttons, etc.) they just look cute as a fluffy pink rabbit! Anyway, she does:

Couldn't help but think about this Japanese tourguide's priceless outfit I once saw ALL DAY!

Cupcake Waltz!

Brought to you by the magic op stop motion! A guy named Matthew made these with burned cupcakes. Well, if you´re not gonna eat ´em, better make ´em dance!

Thiz iz teh cuteness

Who doesn't love those krazy kats? Here's a supercute clip of cat playing a theremin, which, according to Wikipedia is " The theremin is one of the earliest electronic musical instruments, and the first musical instrument played without being touched[...]To play, the player moves his hands around the antennas, controlling frequency (pitch) and amplitude (volume). The theremin is associated with "alien", surreal, and eerie-sounding portamento, glissando, tremolo, and vibrato sounds." Whatevs, it's sooo cute! Watch it till the end, I totally LOLed!

Arty Farty Time with.... Willy 2

This time I'm going modern, people! Ryan McGinley is one of the most influential young photographers. He uses mostly young models, and they hardly wear anything more than their own pubes. Placed in a background of uninterrupted nature, smoke machines and fireworks, it results in an ethereal world of unspoiled beauty and a strange innocence. He spent the whole summer working on his new project "I Know Where the Summer Goes", on the road with his crew of young models, touring through the American landscape. It's now on display in Team Gallery in NY, so buy your plainticket now, and buy me one too while your at it!

This piece is called 'Falling (Cornfield)'. 2007.

While he said in the past that he wasn't into doing fashion photography, I suspect money has seduced him into a few photoshoots. He's responsible for my favourite Kate Moss shoot ever,'Dream Girl' from W, June 2007.

Music Minute

Fun video from the band Little Man Tate. It's called House Party at Boothey's and it contains the genius lyrics: scenesters dancing in V-neck sweaters. Couldn't be more true.

Willy and Dick visit their favourite uncle.

He always has the best Christmas presents.

SO pissed off!!!

Most of my friends and especially my mother know that I want to achieve just one thing in life, and only when I have accomplished this particular ordeal, I am able to die happy. It has been the guiding light through the darkest patches on the road that is life, lifting my soul out of the darkest depths of sartorial misery. This near impossible quest is to obtain The Perfect Pair Of Red Boots. And I kid you not when I say that this is nigh impossible. I have combed through every shoe store from London to motherfucking Groningen. Never have I found that pair that's just perfect; the right shade of red, my size, right length, etc. Untill now. And they're not mine.

Agathe of Stylebytes owns them!! And she bought them for next to nothing!! You know, this is proof that there is like, no God. Okay, I'm exaggerating, it just proves that Satan exists, and that he doesn't like me. Agathe, if you read this, look into your heart, and FedEx the boots to me! I'll pay double what you payed! At least, if they're a size 40.

God, I am so depressed right now. I need a drink.

xoxo Willy.

3D Popup

You probably remember those popup books you 'read' when you were little. They were the cutest, really. Well, lately it seems they're back, everywhere, in a more adultlike version. Gosh, this makes me so happy! Yay!
You already know that Shitdisco video, of course. That vid is so cute it actually makes me like their music. And trust me, I don't want to(remember the time when bands spent more time composing music than making up band names...)!
Then I came across this Lexus commercial. Yes, Lexus, speedy, flashy, Lexus. Advertising with a popup!
But the best one is definitely this video. It is in fact going to be published as a book, called "ABC3D". It's made by Marion Bataille, a Parisian graphic designer. I'm in total awe!

Trend, no?

Marion Cotillard in 'La Vie en Rose'

This weekend, while being bored and tired from partying, I watched 'La Vie en Rose'. I wanted to see how Oscar-worthy Marion Cotillard really was. Well. It was AMAZING. Really! And, you're one hell of an actress if you can change your look from this:

Respect.

WHO in the world would wear shoes like this? During Milan Fashion Week, of all weeks? You´d have to be Wonder Woman or at least like, God. I´ll tell you who would:

This woman, who´s name is Louise. She was writing an article about wearing crazy shoes during Fashion Week. I am in awe of you Louise. Screw Jesus, you are my religion now.

Peace out, Willy

Arty Farty Time With.... Willy

I suspect some of you lazy farts never go to a museum (with exceptions, off course...), because you all spend way too much time on ze internets. Well, then I´ll just bring the museum to you! I mean, I do study Art History at university, so I know what I´m talking about, most of the time... So I present to you one of my favourite Rembrandt´s, just for shits ´n giggles. Take note that Ganymedes is actually peeing. They don´t cost that much without a reason...

Rembrandt van Rijn - The kidnapping of Ganymedes

Enjoy!

Mixtapes

A friend recommended this website to me: Muxtape. Click click click! Here you can make your own digital mixtape! Le sigh! Sweet melancholy! Those were the days, those old-fashioned mixtape days. When this little girl was still obsessed with The Cranberries, WetWetWet and Laura Pausini. When Geri was still a Spice Girl, and it was still okay to dance to Haddaway. (or was I the only one doing that...) If you're curious about my current favourites, click here.
