Pale is the new tan

Pray tell me, why do glossy magazines hate pale people? From US Vogue to Dutch Glamour, all I've been hearing is: "Get ready for the summer, tan your legs!" As an EXTREMELY pale person, I get insecure. Every lame ass magazine in the world has an article about fake tans. Tell me, since when is looking like this



anywhere near desirable? Ok, I get that having an nice glowing tan is hot, but it's just not in the books for me. Plus, doesn't tanning lead to cancer sometimes? Because that's what magazines, papers and television has been telling me for, I don't know, FOREVER. It's a paradox, people. Well, at least we still have Scarlett...
